The objectives of the Programme 

  • To bring more awareness about IRINS and its impact;
  • To discuss the benefits of IRINS to the scholarly communities;
  • To bring awareness about the INFLIBNET projects and activities;
  • To demonstrate and implement IRINS & ShodhChakra projects at the institute level and
  • To create awareness about academic Identities and ORCID

The programme will support the organisation in interlinking all the faculty members’ / researchers' scholarly activities, publications, datasets, and other research outputs. This interconnectedness improves the discoverability and visibility of academic works.

Registration for the one-day user awareness programme is free, and seats will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in attending the programme can register using the following link. The last date to register is 11th June 2025.

The Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre is an autonomous Inter-University Centre (IUC) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) located in the Infocity, Gandhinagar. Major activities and services of the Centre are geared towards modernization of academic libraries and information centres, promotion of information transfer and access, support scholarship, learning and academic pursuits. The Centre acts as a nodal agency for networking of libraries and information centres in universities, institutions of higher learning and R & D institutions in India.
