The Zinnov Foundation in collaboration with Critical Collective (CC) invites essay submissions from independent researchers, PhD scholars, and established academics engaged in the fields of art history, visual culture, cultural studies, or related disciplines in India.

Details of the Themes

We seek essays that critically engage with one of the following themes:

• 1. Art in Public Spaces in India: The Legacy or the Lack Thereof
• 2. The Gap Between Public Art Policies and Their Implementation

Critical Collective will review the submissions on behalf of the Zinnov Foundation. Two essays (one in each category) will be selected for public presentation.

Important Dates:

• Final Essay Submission: November 30, 2025
• Winners' Announcement: December 15, 2025
• Public Presentation: January 10, 2026
