Free Online Training on Mental and Physical Well-being in the Era of Cyberspace

Who Can Participate?

Students, Teachers, Teacher Educators, Parents, Administrators and all those who are interested.

The sessions will be broadcast live on NCERT’s YouTube Channel and simulcast on PM eVidya DTH TV Channels (6 to 12) and the Jio TV mobile app. Participants will also have access to recorded sessions through a dedicated YouTube playlist, enabling them to revisit key insights at their convenience. By engaging in this training, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of mental and physical well-being in cyberspace, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to maintain a balanced, mindful, and healthier digital lifestyle.

Programme Objectives

After completion of the training series, the learner will be able to:

Create a balanced digital environment that supports long-term mental wellness.
Understand policy frameworks on mental and physical well-being in cyberspace.
Evaluate screen time effects on cognitive function, stress levels, and physical health.
Adopt digital detox practices to reduce dependency and enhance mindfulness.
Utilise well-being tools for stress management, focus, and emotional resilience.
Develop self-regulation strategies for responsible digital engagement.
Promote physical activity to counteract sedentary digital lifestyles.
Enhance institutional and personal responsibility for fostering digital well-being.

Attend training sessions, which will be live-streamed on NCERT Official YouTube channel – http://youtube.com/ncertofficial from 3-7 February 2025 from 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm.(Monday to Friday).

Certification Process

Join the online course that will be launched on DIKSHA portal. Course link will be updated on the event page on the last day of the training by 7 pm. This course will be open till 15 March, 2025.
Participants need to join the course, go through all the five videos.
Participants need to take up the final assessment. Participants can attempt thrice the assessment.
Participants who score 70% and above in the final assessment will get a certificate and they can access their certificate in their DIKSHA profile page itself. It may take 15-20 days to receive the certificate.
