Internship Opportunity under IKS Institutional Internship Project

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore is inviting interns for the IKS Institutional Internship Project-2025 approved by Indian Knowledge System Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

About the Internship

Title of the Project: Comprehensive Research Methodology Integrating Nyāya Epistemology and Tantra Yukti Principles

  • Number of Positions: 09
  • Duration: 04 months (October 2025 – January 2026)
  • Fellowship: ₹10,000 per month (consolidated)
  • Last Date to Apply: 20 September 2025
  • Location: Hybrid (Primary base at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, with provisions for remote contribution where appropriate)

This internship provides an opportunity to build research capacity in IKS methodologies and gain exposure to Nyāya logic, Tantra Yukti frameworks, and their applications in modern research contexts.

Have at least one of their focused areas be Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) or allied disciplines such as Sanskrit Studies, Epistemology, Comparative Philosophy, Logic, Indigenous Research Methodologies, or Cultural Studies

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Have recently completed their Post-Graduation (PG) in any discipline of Humanities, Social Sciences, Philosophy, Indology, Education, or related fields.
  • Demonstrate a persistent interest in research with evidence of good-quality academic work (published paper, dissertation, conference presentation, or equivalent proof).

Internship Scope

  • Interns will actively contribute to the following project deliverables:
  • Preparation of a Research Monograph on Nyāya-Tantra Yukti Framework.
  • Development of a Sanskrit-English Bilingual Glossary (200+ key terms).
  • Compilation of a Methodology Toolkit and Annotated Sourcebook.
  • Assisting in case study analyses, academic publications, and curriculum module drafting.
  • Participation in knowledge dissemination activities, including conference papers, digital repositories, and policy briefs.

  • One proof of prior research work (published paper / dissertation / conference paper / writing sample)

Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an offline interview.

Important Notes

  • Internships are full-time engagements, and interns are expected to contribute actively to project deliverables.
  • Fellowship will be disbursed monthly as per IKS Division norms.
  • A certificate of internship will be issued upon successful completion
