National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June-2025, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for 'award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor', 'appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.' and 'admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Total Test Papers:
Eligibility: M.Sc. equivalent with at least 55 percent marks can apply. OBC (NCL), SC, ST, Third Gender, PwBD candidates should have at least 50 percent marks in the qualifying exam.
Age: General category candidates should not be more than 30 years of age as on July 2025 for eligibility for JRF. SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates have a maximum age relaxation of five years and OBC (Non-Critical Layer) candidates have a maximum age relaxation of three years. There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor/PhD admissions.
Application Fee: Rs.1150 for General candidates, Rs.600 for General EWS/OBC(NCL), Rs.325 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender candidates.
