To propel India’s vision of becoming the ‘Global Food Basket‘, the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) is organizing World Food India 2025. This mega event aims to showcase India’s strengths in food processing, attract global investments, foster innovation, and create sustainable farm-to-fork value chains. To ensure inclusive growth, technological adoption, and global partnerships, the mission is moving towards its next phase with the aim of “Processing for Prosperity”.
World Food India 2025 will reinforce India’s position as a food processing hub and focus on key pillars like sustainability, nutrition, technology, and strengthening the rural economy. It seeks to transform the sector by integrating startups, leveraging AI, and promoting India’s unique GI-tagged products on the global stage. Government schemes like PMKSY, PMFME, and ODOP are building India’s future as a global food processing leader and reliable food basket.
There is a significant opportunity and need to create mass awareness about India’s food processing potential, the objectives of World Food India, and its impact on farmers, entrepreneurs, and the economy. This quiz is designed to instill among citizens, students, and industry stakeholders an understanding of how this initiative aims to revolutionize India’s food ecosystem.
