Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant for a research study on “Impact Evaluation Study of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Jharkhand”

About the Project

The project on Impact Evaluation Study of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in Jharkhand is a project awarded by NABARD to analyze the impact created by FPOs in enhancing the production, productivity and income of the shareholders and identify the impending factors, if any, in their growth and sustainability. 

• Number of Positions: 02 
• Nature of Job: Contractual 
• Duration of the Job: 4 months 
• Last Date of Application: 05.07.2025 
• Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree with minimum 60 percent marks
• Remuneration: The remuneration will be Rs. 25,000/- month.

Desirable skill sets

• a) Candidates with strong analytical and research skills, including experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. 
• b) Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings. 
• c) Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS/STATA) and qualitative data analysis tools. 
• d) Exposure to Economics/Mathematics/Statistics will be preferred. 
• e) Age: Preferably below 40 Years

Job Description:

• a) To collect and analyse data using quantitative and qualitative methods. 
• b) Prepare accurate and concise reports of research findings. 
• c) Provide research support to other team members. 
• e) Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of research findings. 
• f) The job involves extensive travel across the different districts/villages of Jharkhand

Selection Process:

The selection process will be in two stages. 

• The first stage will be the shortlisting of the received applications 
• The second stage will be a personal interview (PI). 
• The mode and date of the interview will be duly communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
