Sound sculpting is the art of representing realities, objects, and experiences through sound. Due to their natural instinct for connecting with sounds, children enjoy deploying them in accessing science.
Details of the Competition
Students from classes 6 - 11 are encouraged to come up with innovative science projects using sound. The projects can include the use of musical instruments, nature sounds, everyday objects around us to recreate or explain scientific concepts and phenomenon. Each team can have 3 -5 participants. Each school can send up to 5 entries.
The school children are requested to send audio files of their sound sculpting submissions of 2-5 minutes duration. This should include a detailed description of the project through audio narrations in their own voices and in any language of their choice.
The teams should not copy digital sounds from the internet or any other secondary source. We discourage the students from using AI generated sounds.
Your audio submissions must have two components.
