Call for Institutional Partnership: Kaushal Yuva – Skilled Youth Programme by UIRDF

Details of the Programme

The Kaushal Yuva – Skilled Youth programme is a national skill development initiative under the Samriddhi Bharat Mission – Youth Empowerment, led by the Unified Industrial Research and Development Foundation (UIRDF). This initiative (Kaushal Yuva Pillar 1)aims to empower students with essential digital skills through structured, online training programs in areas such as Software Testing, Cyber Security, and Integrated Digital Skills (including development, testing, and design). The programme is offered at highly subsidized fees, in partnership with selected academic institutions.

The Unified Industrial Research and Development Foundation (UIRDF) invites colleges to apply for the Kaushal Yuva – Skilled Youth project under the Samriddhi Bharat Mission – Youth Empowerment. This initiative aims to equip youth with foundational skills in high-demand technology domains through affordable, online skill development training. The training is delivered via selected academic institutions and supported through UIRDF certification and institutional coordination grants.

Participation & Selection Guidelines

  • Only 14 colleges will be selected across regions
  • Colleges may apply to participate in the Kaushal Yuva programme
  • UIRDF will inform each selected college of the approved programme(s)
  • Each selected programme must enroll minimum 15 students
  • College fund will only be sanctioned if minimum participation is met

  • UIRDF reviews and selects 14 colleges 
  • Selected programme(s) will be communicated to each institution 
  • College must enroll minimum 15 students per program to be eligible for funds  
  • Online classes commence on scheduled dates 
  • College Fund Disbursement: - For 6-Month Programme: - ₹30,000 after first 3 months - ₹30,000 after successful completion - 
  • For 2 & 3-Month Programmes: ₹10,000 post-completion (if criteria met)

Details of Active Courses

Software Testing - 6 months

  • Duration: 6 Months (Online) 
  • Student Fee: ₹16,500/- (₹2,750/month) 
  • Actual Cost Covered: ₹63,000/- 
  • College Fund: ₹60,000/- 
  • Disbursal: - ₹30,000 after first 3 months 
  • ₹30,000 after course completion 
  • Certification: UIRDF Skill Certificate
Cyber Security – Foundation Course

  • Duration: 2 Months (Online) 
  • Student Fee: ₹2,750 (One-time) 
  • Actual Cost Covered: ₹27,000/- 
  • College Fund: ₹10,000/- Released after programme completion if 15+ students enrolled
  • Certification: UIRDF Skill Certificate

Integrated Digital Skills Course

  • Duration: 3 Months (Online) 
  • Student Fee: ₹2,890/- 
  • College Fund: ₹10,000/- 
  • Released after programme completion if 15+ students enrolled 
  • Tracks Covered:  Web Development (Basics) - Software Testing Fundamentals - UI/UX Design (Introduction) 
  • Certification: UIRDF Skill Certificate
Important Note:

Documents such as a Letter from the Head of the Institution or Head of the Department will be required only if the institution is shortlisted for participation in the Kaushal Yuva – Skilled Youth programme, Click Here to Download Notification

  • By submitting this form, the institution agrees to the following:
  • All information provided is true and accurate.
  • A minimum of 15 students per selected program will be ensured for funding eligibility. 
  • The institution will coordinate with UIRDF and its channel partner, Campuzine Scholars Edu Hub LLP, for program implementation.
  • Selection is subject to review and approval by UIRDF.
  • Institutional support (including college fund) is conditional upon meeting program requirements.
  • Note: All matters related to financial accountability shall be handled exclusively by UIRDF and the respective institutions.
