The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) 2025. This examination is conducted for postgraduate candidates of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homoeopathy who aspire to join the teaching profession in respective disciplines.
There is no specific seat allocation as NTET is a qualifying eligibility test and not an admission test to a course or institution. Successful candidates will receive an NTET Certificate, which is valid for 10 years.
Disciplines: Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homoeopathy.
Eligibility:
Applicants must possess a recognized postgraduate degree in their respective fields (MD/MS) or relevant master's degrees in allied subjects along with appropriate undergraduate qualifications like B.A.M.S, B.H.M.S, B.S.M.S, or B.U.M.S. For Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani, at least 30 months of the PG program must be completed. For Homoeopathy, PG completion is mandatory. Other eligible candidates include research officers, medical officers, and experienced professionals aiming for teaching roles.
Age: There is no specified upper age limit, but candidates must meet qualification and experience requirements relevant to their intended teaching post (Assistant/Associate Professor).

Duration: 2 hours
