The National Institute of Technology Calicut, an Institution of National Importance renowned for its quality education in Engineering, Humanities, and Education, invites online applications from Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India for the position of Assistant Professor Grade II (to be appointed on a contract basis) in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC. The essential and desirable qualifications, experience, and other criteria for selection will be in accordance with the Recruitment Rules for faculty in NITs, as outlined in Schedule E of the National Institute of Technology Calicut Statutes, 2017 (formerly known as “The First Statutes of the National Institute of Technology”), issued by the Gazette of India on 24th July 2017, the clarification issued by the MHRD/MoE on 16th April 2019, and the amendment statutes published in the Gazette of India on 6th June 2023. The selection procedure shall be governed by the Recruitment Rules and Office Memoranda (OMs) issued by the MoE, Govt. of India from time to time. The institute reserves the right to cancel or amend the number of vacancies advertised (i.e., to increase or decrease the number of posts).
